A Little About Me:

I’m Bridget a.k.a Professor Playtime (she/they) a dedicated and experienced transformational coach with a background in trauma-informed Embodiment, Somatic, and Neural Reprogramming. >more about me

I’m here to support those tired of living someone else’s story, ready to explore and understand themselves deeply, so that they can fully & authentically participate in life. My goal is to guide clients through (often) uncomfortable process of unlearning harmful systems and returning to a place of integrity in themselves, their relationships, and in their communities.

  • As an Embodiment Guide- my focus is on helping individuals establish a profound connection with their bodies.

I guide clients through practices like mindfulness, breathwork, and movement exercises, aiming to heighten awareness of bodily sensations and emotions, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the body-mind-spirit connection. My goal is to encourage the integration of body, mind, & spirit, contributing to personal growth, increased self-confidence, and the cultivation of an authentic and grounded presence.

  • As a trauma-informed Somatic Experiencing practitioner, my focus is on helping individuals alchemize trauma by integrating the mind and body. I guide clients in releasing and resolving trauma stored in the body's nervous system. My goal is to facilitate the renegotiation of painful and/or traumatic experiences, allowing the nervous system to complete its natural cycle of stress and recovery.

I provide a toolkit of advanced resources that empowers people to develop co & self-regulation strategies.

  • As a Neural Repatterning practitioner, I also focus on rewiring neural pathways in the brain. In simpler terms, I help individuals identify and transform unhelpful thought patterns, emotional responses, or behaviors that stem from past experiences or trauma.

I provide a toolkit of advanced tools and strategies that empower individuals to consciously reshape their thinking and emotional responses.

What I’ve Found:

As a neurodivergent, non-monogamous, pansexual and the Executive Director of a radically sex positive organization I’ve seen, studied, & experienced first hand the ways in which systems of harm impact our communities. For those who exist outside of the “status-quo” there are often 3 major challenges.

  1. A disconnect between what society believes will make us happy & what actually makes us happy.

  2. A disconnect between what society believes should feel authentic & what actually feels authentic for us.

  3. A disconnect between what society believes is “good” or “normal” & the diversity of the human experience.

This conflict with our environment can cause a break-down in communication between our mind, our body, & our spirit. This is what I refer to as being ‘out of alignment’ or trauma. This makes it harder for us to process our experiences, communicate our needs/boundaries, and actualize the things we want out of life. Which can actually make US more harmful.

My Philosphy:

We experience the world through 3 primary lens’ at all times;

1. our body, 2. our mind & 3. our spirit.

When these are all in alignment we can alchemize our pain into purpose and tend to experience more peace. When these are out of alignment we tend to experience more friction and tension in our lives. And again, we tend to cause more harm.

The Answer:

Develop a relationship and shared language with your body, your mind, & your spirit, so that you can cultivate more ease and peace in your life (& the world around you.)

Coaching:

I find we in the “healing” space tend to use a lot of fluffy words, performative action, and appropriation. In doing so, we overcomplicate and manipulate teachings. My aim is to break things down into simple, repeatable steps, while giving space to process the real shit that comes up day to day.

The Process in 3 Steps:

  • Body Exploration: Learn how to tap into sensations, identify emotions and needs, laying the foundation for personalized coping strategies. -> So that you can cultivate self-trust.

  • Mind Intervention: Learn how to rewire narratives, fostering a more clear understanding of your reality. -> So that you can cultivate self-acceptance

  • Spiritual Integration: Learn how to connect with your authentic self, unlocking the path to living with integrity. -> So that you can cultivate self-actualization

Alignment Con't:

I believe we are born with body-mind-soul in alignment and slowly, over time, we turn away from ourselves in order to survive a profoundly flawed world.

I believe we must first release our conditioning and behavioral patterns so that we can begin to integrate our conscious and subconscious responses.

  • By developing a relationship and shared language w/ the body we cultivate self-trust. From self-trust comes the ability to trust others.

The Goal of the Body: To Feel

Language of the Body: Somatic (physical sensations & emotions)

Information: The body is designed to inform us of a want, a need, or a value that we carry.

  • By developing a relationship and shared language w/ the mind we cultivate self-acceptance. From self-acceptance comes the ability to fully accept another.

The Goal of the Mind: to understand

The Language of the Mind: Analytical (patterns and meaning)

Information: The mind is designed to tell us a story about our experience (usually on a “safe” or “unsafe” scale)

  • By developing a relationship and shared language w/ the our spirit we cultivate self-actualization. From self-actualization comes the ability to uplift others.

The Goal of the Spirit: to remain in integrity

The Language of the Spirit: Energetic (intuition and inspiration)

Information: The Spirit is designed to inform us of whether or not our thoughts, feelings, and/or actions are in alignment with our integrity.
